Kriskadecor project: Creativity and color in MiQ's offices in the heart of Manhattan
In an emblematic building in Manhattan are the offices of MiQ, an international company dedicated to Marketing Intelligence for which Melissa Cheing of Sydness Architects has designed a space that goes beyond the brand’s corporate identity and blends in with its exclusive surroundings, the NoMad, New York’s trendy neighborhood.
To encourage creativity and the necessary collaboration among employees, Cheing created several open, spacious and bright work areas, distributed between the two floors and dominated by straight lines. Straight lines, like those of Kriskadecor’s aluminum chains, serve various functions in interior design.
The room divider complements the company logo with a multicolor gradient in high definition and glossy finish. In addition to breaking with the chromatic harmony of neutral colors, Kriskadecor’s design solution provides transparency thanks to the shape of its links and volume through a second layer of black that connects the two floors through the stairwell.
