The Nova Penthouse

London-based architecture and design firm Bowler James Brindley was commissioned to remodel the entrance hall of a luxury penthouse on London’s Victoria Street, achieving a unique fusion between 1960s modernism and a style deeply influenced by the Rock “n” roll spirit. The result is a space that stands out for its elegance and character, combining rich and sophisticated materials with bold details that invite interaction.

The design of the hall integrates a wealth of high quality materials, such as mirrors, velvet in vibrant colors, rosewood, walnut, wallpaper and glossy finishes. All of this is combined with custom furniture that not only decorates the space, but also invites visitors to sit, touch and “play”, creating an interactive and welcoming environment.

A tribute to pop culture: Twiggy in the spotlight

Among the attention-grabbing details is a high-definition image of iconic actress and singer Leslie Lawson, better known as Twiggy. This image, which welcomes new visitors, is presented through two anodized aluminum curtains from Kriskadecor. These curtains not only serve a decorative function, but also act as space dividers, creating a focal point that brings a touch of nostalgia and personality to the entrance hall.

The versatility of the Kriskadecor material allowed the designers to create a fully customized solution, integrating the curtains seamlessly and harmoniously with the rest of the space. The anodized aluminum chains not only provided an attractive visual element, but also contributed to the division of space, offering both lightness and elegance. The end result is a design that celebrates the history of modernism and pop culture, while creating a sophisticated, dynamic and seamlessly integrated environment.
