Vizient Corporate Office

Vizient’s corporate offices, designed by Partners by Design in Chicago’s West Loop, have masterfully integrated a modern aesthetic with the historic architecture of the former Post Office building. This project is an outstanding example of how workspaces can blend the past and present, creating an environment that is not only functional, but also visually stimulating and full of character.

One of the most striking and captivating elements of the offices is in the corridors, where a custom installation by Kriskadecor is located. Extending from the walls to the ceiling, it not only immediately catches the eye, but also adds an artistic touch that perfectly complements the industrial feel of the building. The seamless transition of the installation into the space creates a sense of visual continuity, merging the vertical and horizontal surfaces into an immersive experience.

A captivating installation that redefines space

What really sets this work apart is the ethereal, floating effect that Kriskadecor’s metal chains create. This visually striking effect reduces the ceiling height and volume of the space, which contributes to a more welcoming and intimate atmosphere. This phenomenon is especially relevant in large or open areas, where the original ceiling height could have resulted in an impersonal or overwhelming environment. The installation manages to soften that feeling, providing a sense of comfort and warmth, while maintaining the freshness and modernity of the design.
