Cinc Sentits Restaurant

Zoo Studio was in charge of renewing the corporate image of the Cinc Sentits restaurant in Barcelona, a place recognized for its high-level culinary proposal and awarded with a Michelin star, thanks to its chef, Jordi Artal. The studio’s challenge was to combine tradition with sophistication, reflecting in the interior design the essence of the restaurant and the chef’s innovative vision.

To achieve this, organic and natural materials such as wood, glass, stone and braided aluminum were used, creating an elegant and contemporary atmosphere, but without losing the touch of warmth and authenticity. An example of this fusion of materials is the installation of Kriskadecor chains on the ceiling, which became a key element of the design. These chains, with their delicate shine and flexibility, broke the uniformity and depth of the space, generating sinuous lines that visually connect the tables and define the flow of the space.

The brown color of the chains stands out against the black of the ceiling, creating a visual contrast that adds warmth to the space. Thanks to the transparency of the chains and careful lighting, the chains project subtle textures onto the walls, helping to create intimate atmospheres for each table. This interplay between light and shadow, together with the innovative use of the material, provides a sense of dynamism and sophistication, while maintaining the cozy and relaxing atmosphere that characterizes Cinc Sentits.
