Project with aluminium chains at FC Barcelona's store in El Prat
Located in Terminal 1 of the Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport, the FC Barcelona store stands out for its innovative design and its ability to convey the essence of the famous sports club. With a surface area of 200 m², the store was designed by Capella García Arquitectura and has become a point of reference for the club’s fans and travellers passing through the airport.
One of the most outstanding elements of this space is the shop window, which features a floating t-shirt made of aluminium chains in blue and satin red, the emblematic colours of FC Barcelona. This design not only embellishes the space, but also adds dynamism and modernity, thanks to the lightness and translucency of the chain links. By allowing light to flow through them, they create a vibrant atmosphere, while maintaining the feeling of spaciousness in the retail space.
A shop window celebrating the Blaugrana identity
The installation of the floating jersey was created using the Shaped Frame system, a decorative solution that defines and structures the aluminium chains. This system allows the reproduction of all kinds of organic or geometric figures, which has allowed to create a perfect shape for the FC Barcelona shirt. In addition, the frame that holds the chains has been lacquered in a RAL colour, carefully chosen to align with the visual identity of the club, ensuring total integration with the Blaugrana colours.
This application not only highlights the identity of FC Barcelona, but also demonstrates how Kriskadecor’s innovative solutions can transform a retail space into a unique visual experience, playing with light, spaciousness and aesthetics. The store thus becomes a tribute to the club and its legacy, all while offering a contemporary and attractive environment for fans and visitors.
