Kriskadecor project for the pop-up retail experience created for the skincare line by Dua Lipa

Pop-up stores have evolved into immersive environments where every element contributes to expressing a brand’s identity. For the DUAbyAB pop-up store at Palais Royal in Paris, Kriskadecor’s aluminium chains became an integral part of an ephemeral retail experience created for the skincare line developed by Dua Lipa in collaboration with Augustinus Bader.

Designed by the SDVM team (Aimee Reynolds, Francesca (Chessie) Brook and Charlotte Mills) and built by TJC, the installation features a series of organically shaped aluminium chain dividers that gently structure the interior without interrupting visual continuity. Their fluid geometry defines different areas within the pop-up while maintaining an open, welcoming atmosphere that encourages visitors to move naturally through the space.

The project was fully customised to reflect the collection’s visual identity. Satin orange aluminium chains, combined with a logo finished in RAL 5002, introduce a vibrant colour palette that reinforces the immersive character of the environment. Beyond their functional role as space dividers, the chains become a distinctive design feature, adding texture, movement and subtle reflections throughout the visitor journey.

Like every Kriskadecor installation, the solution was tailored to the project’s creative vision. Aluminium chains can be manufactured in any RAL or Pantone colour, offering architects and designers complete freedom to create bespoke environments that strengthen a brand’s visual identity.
