Architectural design project that fits the annual showroom theme during Milan Design Week.
For five editions of Milan Design Week, Kriskadecor has had the pleasure of cladding the façade of the Archiproducts Milano showroom, adapting its design solutions to each year’s themes. The versatility of the aluminium chains has made it possible to transform the outdoor space in a unique way in each edition, creating a seamless connection between the interiors and exteriors of the building.
The cladding has not only generated an initial attraction for pedestrians, inviting them to enter, but has also allowed to hide the imperfections of an old building, giving it a new life and relevance within the vibrant context of Design Week. Through its innovative installations, Kriskadecor has succeeded in making the façade a constantly evolving canvas, reflecting the creative and experimental spirit of each edition of the event.

A design for each edition
Each year, the theme of the cladding has been carefully chosen to reflect the vision of the designers who collaborated with Archiproducts Milano. In 2016, Diego Grandi presented a construction composed of volumes and boxes, which unfolded as a sequence of infinite rooms, a fascinating architectural installation that transformed the facade into a play of geometries. For her part, in 2017, Serena Confalonieri interpreted the “Architypes”, creating a kaleidoscopic image that played with shapes and colours, making the facade a visual explosion of movement.


In 2018, Elisa Ossino proposed a composition of abstract black and white panels, creating a dramatic and elegant contrast that gave a new texture to the building. In 2019, Truly Design took the installation to the next level with an anamorphic proposal that transformed the façade into a 3D visual artwork, mesmerising visitors with its play of perspectives. Finally, in 2022, Carla Di Benedetto and the Archiproducts team presented the arches as the formal leitmotif of the project, creating a fluid and architecturally harmonious composition that played with light and space.

Each of the facades reflected Kriskadecor’s constant commitment to innovation, demonstrating its ability to adapt to different designers’ concepts and create spaces that are not only functional, but also visually stunning. Through its exterior cladding, Kriskadecor has transformed the façade of the Archiproducts Milano showroom into a central element of Design Week, generating a continuous dialogue between contemporary design and the building’s classical architecture.
