Kriskadecor project paying tribute to music
Nestled among dozens of bars and restaurants at the Mall of America, the Hard Rock Café in Bloomington, Minnesota, brings music, memorabilia and unmistakable rock n’ roll flair to one of the world’s largest shopping malls. With a design that celebrates the history of music and its icons, this restaurant offers visitors a unique experience full of energy and nostalgia.
With more than 1,300 square feet of space, the new Hard Rock Café seats 400 diners and features several areas designed to provide a complete experience: a private event space, patio seating, a 1,200-seat live music stage, two spacious bars and a 70-square-meter Rock Shop. In addition, music fans can virtually explore the world’s finest collection of music memorabilia through the Rock Wall Solo™, a high-resolution interactive touch screen that allows them to immerse themselves in rock history.
Decorative elements that connect with rock legends
Within this vibrant space are five Kriskadecor space dividers designed to pay homage to some of music’s greatest legends: Elvis Presley, Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan and George Harrison. Kuhlmann Design Group, Inc. responsible for the interior design of the venue, incorporated these straight curtains as a way to connect visitors to the essence of rock, using Kriskadecor chains to create an atmosphere that combines the modernity of the design with the legacy of these musical icons.
Kriskadecor chains, being a versatile and dynamic material, not only fulfill a dividing function, but also provide a unique visual texture that enriches the environment. Thanks to the flexibility and lightness of the material, the curtains allow natural light to enter, maintaining the feeling of spaciousness in the space while honoring the legends that have marked the history of rock. With these details, the Hard Rock Café in Bloomington becomes a place where fans not only enjoy a meal, but also immerse themselves in an environment that celebrates music and its legacy in a unique way.
