Aluminium chain project inspired by nature
LOOM Castellana 85, designed by Ballarin + Mendoza, is much more than a traditional office. This innovative coworking space in Madrid resembles a fluid ecosystem, designed to foster collaboration and create a strong sense of community among its users. Inspired by nature, the design of the space moves away from the rigidity of conventional offices, seeking to offer a flexible environment that encourages interaction and creativity.

Aluminium chains, chosen for their functionality and aesthetics, are one of the most distinctive features of the design. They envelop the glazed meeting rooms, creating a unique atmosphere thanks to the soft colour gradients that evoke the fresh tones of spring. This solution not only preserves transparency and visibility between the different areas, but also allows natural light to enter, enhancing the feeling of spaciousness and connection with the outdoors. The exceptional views from all façades of the building are perfectly integrated, creating an inspiring and open atmosphere.
With this design, LOOM Castellana 85 becomes a place where creativity flows without restrictions. The use of light and flexible materials, such as aluminium chains, creates an environment that respects both privacy and openness, promoting interaction between users without sacrificing comfort or functionality. This space, which adapts to the needs of today’s professionals, not only focuses on work, but also on the well-being and connection between its members, making it an ideal environment to promote ideas and collaborative projects.
