Aluminum chain project with a sleek, wrap-around design for a unique experience
In May 2022, LOU bar & restaurant opened its doors on Innsbruck’s Erlerstraße after a thorough renovation. Since then, its Mediterranean cuisine has earned a prominent name in the city, as have the creative signature drinks served at the bar. The restaurant’s sophisticated and elegant ambience offers visitors the option of enjoying a more relaxed bistro or an elegant dining room in the rear, where every corner is designed to offer a unique dining experience.
Every detail of the interior design contributes to creating a unique and enveloping atmosphere. The ceiling, adorned with Kriskadecor chains made of gold-colored anodized aluminum links, is one of the highlights of the space. This innovative solution not only provides a sophisticated aesthetic, but also plays with light, thanks to the lamps installed in the ceiling. The suspended chains generate a dynamic play of light and shadow, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that invites diners to relax and enjoy their surroundings.
A design that reflects the passion for details
The interior design and branding by Tyrolean designer Margot Gärtner (missmargo agency) speak for themselves, thanks to the harmonious combination of a stylish bar, a modern ambience with a clear passion for detail, and carefully selected lighting. The absolutely sophisticated restaurant area reinforces the feeling of a space where diners want to linger a little longer, enjoying the whole experience.
This project not only reflects Gärtner’s aesthetic and functional vision, but also the successful collaboration with all the partners involved in its realization, who contributed to making LOU a landmark dining and leisure destination in Innsbruck. The use of Kriskadecor chains in the design has added a visual and sensory dimension that makes this space truly unique.
