Kriskadecor project that brings a touch of color and dynamism to an eminently industrial space.
The offices of the French company Papernest in Barcelona have been renovated by b720 Fermín Vázquez Arquitectos, respecting the original facades and materials of an emblematic building in the Poblenou district. The project has focused on creating a functional and visually attractive space without resorting to unnecessary additions or pretensions, incorporating only elements that stand out for their color, shape and volume.
One of the highlights of the design is a Kriskadecor installation on the ceiling of one of the workrooms. This piece not only fulfills a decorative function, but also brings a touch of color and dynamism to an eminently industrial space. The installation is composed of three aluminum cylinders with a color gradient, designed by MisMAS Interiorismo. Of variable height, they present a smooth transition of colors ranging from softer to more intense tones, creating a visual effect that adds depth and life to the environment.
Thanks to proprietary technology and a wide color palette, Kriskadecor can reproduce patterns, images or gradients such as the one used in this design, which includes up to four different shades per cylinder. This versatility brings not only beauty, but also functionality, as the extremely lightweight aluminum chains allow a wide variety of structures to be hung from the ceiling, from simple geometries to sculptural decorations that reinforce the contemporary character of the space.
The use of Kriskadecor chains in this project transforms the space, merging the industrial with the innovative in a stylish and creative way. This installation becomes the focal point of the office, elevating the workspace design and providing a dynamic and modern atmosphere that inspires creativity and productivity.
