At Terminal 3 of Rome’s Fiumicino International Airport, travelers are welcomed in an environment that not only stands out for its sophistication, but also for its contemporary design. Prima Vista Lounge – Portus, designed by Marina Ordoñez and Isabel Velasco, goes beyond simply being a place to wait: it is a serene and elegant retreat that offers a respite from the hustle and bustle of the airport. This luxurious space provides guests with comfort, exclusivity and an atmosphere that invites relaxation before their next destination.
The lounge design is characterized by the harmonious combination of textures and shapes, with floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the room with natural light, enhancing the warm tones of the wood and the metallic finishes of the Kriskadecor room dividers. The latter, made of aluminum chains, not only have a decorative function, but also create intimate areas within the open space. In addition, by reproducing a gradient of earthy colors, they evoke the soft, natural tones of the environment, bringing a sense of connection with nature and serenity to the space.
The gradient of earth colors in the Kriskadecor chains brings warmth and dynamism to the environment, without losing the elegance that characterizes the entire design. This chromatic transition, ranging from browns to ochers and golds, contributes to generate a cozy atmosphere, while facilitating the creation of private and relaxing spaces. Travelers can enjoy the tranquility without losing the connection with the rest of the lounge, favoring both intimacy and interaction in this exclusive environment.
