Kriskadecor project in a former canteen of the historic sickle and scythe factory.
Located in the former canteen of the historic Redtenbacher sickle and scythe factory, Das Geyerhammer restaurant was renovated in the summer of 2022 by Robert Hochbrugger and Jan Plakolm. With the support of the id Werkstatt studio, they transformed the former canteen into a high-end restaurant, maintaining its connection to regional tradition, but incorporating modern, avant-garde cuisine.
The new culinary proposal, committed to quality and sustainability, not only revitalizes the location, but also pays homage to the history of the former factory, creating a space that would surely have impressed Redtenbacher’s former workers.
Interior design: Elegance and sophistication with Kriskadecor
The restaurant’s atmosphere is transformed by Kriskadecor’s innovative ceiling solution, which introduces green tones and organic shapes. These metal chain curtains not only add a touch of elegance and sophistication, but also help to soften the ambiance without overloading the space.
The design with anodized aluminum links, with a delicate color gradient, integrates the natural environment of the region with the modernity of the interior, creating a serene and welcoming atmosphere that perfectly complements the dining experience.
