Project with aluminum chains creating a more intimate atmosphere
Located in the Dubai International Financial Centre, Roberto’s restaurant offers a unique dining experience, specializing in contemporary Italian cuisine. Its design stands out for its warmth and coziness, achieved through a careful selection of simple and neutral materials, such as wood, leather, marble and aluminum, which add elegance without cluttering the space.
One of the solutions in Roberto’s design is the use of aluminum chains from Kriskadecor. In the dining room, an undulating curtain in two colors, which takes advantage of the transparency of the links, acts as a room divider. This element not only creates a more intimate atmosphere, but also brings a modern and sophisticated aesthetic. Light flows through the links, generating a unique visual play that enhances the perception of space and contributes to a feeling of spaciousness and luminosity, without losing the warmth that characterizes the restaurant.
Best Restaurant Design Award
Roberto’s innovative and harmonious approach to design earned it recognition as the “Best Restaurant Design Middle East” in 2012, awarded by The International Interior Design Association. This award highlights not only the gastronomic quality of the restaurant, but also the way in which interior design can transform a space, creating an atmosphere that invites relaxation and enjoyment. Roberto’s is, without a doubt, an example of how design and gastronomy can merge to offer a complete experience, where aesthetics and comfort are in perfect harmony.
