Kriskadecor's project at the Volkswagen Arena for TURKCELL
Located at the Volkswagen Arena, within the UNIQ Istanbul complex, the TURKCELL Platinum Lounge was designed as a multifunctional space that hosts a variety of live events, such as concerts, fashion shows, award ceremonies, dance and theater performances, as well as basketball games. This lounge is intended to receive corporate invitations, promotions and events organized by Turkcell throughout the year, as well as its special guests during activities held at the Volkswagen Arena.
The main objective of the design was to provide a comfortable and pleasant environment for the guests, with adequate lighting to meet the requirements of the space. Mimaristudio took advantage of the elongated geometry of the venue to create reception areas integrated with the lighting design, ensuring a dynamic, elegant and functional environment. The electric blue lighting, which evokes the colors of the Turkcell brand, was perfectly integrated into the space, reinforcing the company’s identity and bringing a modern and vibrant touch to the environment.
Design that highlights corporate identity and functionality
The design focused on respecting the original structural and architectural character of the site, while incorporating elements that strengthened Turkcell’s identity. Kriskadecor’s anodized aluminum chain curtains surround the lounge’s columns, creating visually striking reception points. These curtains not only add dynamism to the space, but also divide areas efficiently without detracting from the brightness and spaciousness of the environment.
In addition, the ceiling tiles designed by mimaristudio project over the floor pattern, creating a visual continuity that ties the design elements together.
