Rafa Ortega is an industrial designer and co-founder of the gutierrezyortega studio. With a career spanning 30 years, he is distinguished by his passion for innovation and his tireless vision of the future. From his head, heart and hands have come dozens of patents that contribute to making the world more comfortable and sustainable. Among his designs are tables with anti-cohesion stabilizers, ceilings with variable acoustics, oral-facial protectors, magnetic lamps, biophilic sound-absorbing planters, anti-vibration hospital wheels with cushioning, indestructible aluminium furniture and folding tables for training.
Rafa accompanies its differentiating solutions in a comprehensive manner throughout the development process, from the identification of the need to the launch of the final product, always ensuring its effectiveness.
Khronos Collection
Khronos was created with the challenge of integrating visual and sensory dimensions into our exclusive aluminium chains. By incorporating recycled materials with acoustic properties, they are given a new functionality that redefines the limits of traditional design.
Thus, the collection creates environments that balance aesthetic beauty with exceptional acoustic performance, offering an immersive and harmonious experience. Each design element represents a self-contained universe, with unique characteristics that interconnect across time and space.

SÒLID’s designs are a representation of the immutable, the footprint of time that resists and stands firm in a world in constant change. Its elements find references in nature and architecture: the perfection of a flower that continues to bloom, the solidity of the great metropolises and the symmetry that gives order to chaos. SÒLID evokes stability, resilience and permanence, as if each design had been sculpted by time and preserved forever.
Líquid
In the case of LÍQUID, the different designs represent the constant flow of time, transformation and adaptability. Inspired by the nature of water and organic movement, each piece evokes dynamism, lightness and change. Like the tides that never stop or the wind that shapes landscapes, LÍQUID symbolises the ephemeral, the versatile and that which reinvents itself at every instant.
