In mid-May, Kriskadecor organized in Barcelona the 1st meeting with European prescribers. Through a combination of a working day and cultural and leisure activities, we had the opportunity to show the full potential of our solutions made with aluminum chains, as well as their great capacity for customization, the fastening systems for indoor and outdoor spaces, in addition to approaching them all the history behind the brand.
On the 16th and 17th, prescriptors from renowned European architecture and interior design firms had the opportunity to see how our chains have been applied in different types of projects by the brand’s export managers, Mònica Leranoz and Aida Roca. The first of these projects was the Hotel Vincci Gala. There, the prescribers were able to appreciate a design solution in an installation of XXL size. On the other hand, the extraordinary project of the Japanese studio Kengo Kuma & Associates for the Casa Batlló, which renovated the interior of the stairs and the atrium with Kriskadecor metallic curtains, allowed them to perceive the immense creative and structural capacity that can be achieved from a single link.

The meeting ended with a visit to the exhibition “A leaf instead of the eye“, a retrospective of the Barcelona artist Daniel Steegmann Mangrané at MACBA (Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona) in which, through an immersive experience, the artist questions the logic that we maintain with the environment. An exhibition in which the Kriskadecor curtains intervene as a conceptual part of the exhibition, forcing the visitor to interact.

Our first experience with European prescribers exceeded all our expectations. The two days we shared with them will undoubtedly mark a before and after in our relationship.
