Kriskadecor project with progressive lighting that changes subtly throughout the day.
GAZ Arquitectos was commissioned to design the offices of a construction company in Galdakao, Vizcaya, in a small space with little natural lighting. The challenge was to create a functional and comfortable work environment that could accommodate a significant number of workstations without making the space look like a conventional office. The goal was to transform the environment into a fluid and dynamic space, where the workstations did not feel restricted, but integrated into a modern and welcoming design.

An innovative solution that gives cohesion to the space
Elorrin’s design was clear: instead of traditional desks lined up in rows, central work islands were configured to encourage collaboration and interaction among employees. At the heart of the project is a continuous element that gives cohesion to the space: Kriskadecor’s anodized aluminum curtains. These curtains run along the two longitudinal walls of the premises in a sinuous but homogeneous way, bringing fluidity and dynamism to the environment. The sheens and facets of the metal chains not only enrich the design, but also give a sense of movement, transforming the space into a vibrant and stimulating place.
In addition, the curtains feature integrated LED progressive lighting, which changes subtly throughout the day, adjusting to the available natural light and creating a more welcoming atmosphere as the hours progress. This design solution not only optimizes the use of space, but also turns the curtains into a focal point that provides both functionality and aesthetics, enhancing the work experience in an environment that is as dynamic as it is comfortable.
