Kriskadecor project with a vibrant chaos of colors that welcomes the traveler.
Located at the start of the famous Route des Grands Crus wine route, the Novotel Dijon, renovated in 2019, presents itself as a modern and welcoming retreat in the heart of Burgundy. Located next to the Marsannay-la-Côte vineyard, the hotel stands out for its impeccable chromatic coherence and the harmonious fusion of materials such as aluminum, wood and brick, which create a warm and sophisticated atmosphere that invites relaxation.
Inside, the design is complemented by two striking Kriskadecor solutions that add dynamism and personality to the space. The first of these, located in the lobby, is an eye-catching ceiling installation composed of 39 curved 15.75 inches high pieces, randomly distributed. This ensemble creates a vibrant burst of color that welcomes travelers, capturing the essence of the area.
In the restaurant, we find Kriskadecor’s second intervention: a room divider that reproduces in high definition an emblematic image of the region: the toast between two glasses of red wine. This element not only acts as a visual divider between two areas of the restaurant, but also enhances the feeling of spaciousness, allowing natural light to flow freely through the large windows and bathe both rooms in a warm and bright atmosphere.
In addition, the restaurant’s furniture is characterized by an eclectic combination of chairs and stools of different colors, materials and styles, arranged around the tables. This mix, so characteristic of contemporary décor, creates a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere, inviting diners to enjoy a unique gastronomic experience, surrounded by a design carefully chosen to highlight the beauty of the place.
The Novotel Dijon Route des Grands Crus is a clear example of how design can merge with the wine tradition of the region, creating a modern and welcoming space where every element contributes to an unforgettable visual and sensory experience.
