Kriskadecor's project with a design that captures the essence of Brighton

In 2013, moreno: masey revitalized Brighton’s Gourmet Burger Kitchen, one of the craft burger chain’s stores with more than 90 locations across the UK. The studio’s goal was to capture the essence of the city of Brighton, known for its seafront, while maintaining the brand’s identity, creating a striking and unique restaurant.

The design stands out for its vibrant interior, which blends a wide palette of vintage images and objects, fusing rich materials and colors to generate a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This combination of modern elements with a touch of local nostalgia reflects the vitality of the city and offers diners an immersive dining experience.

One element that really stands out is Kriskadecor’s room divider, which extends all the way to the wall and features a high-definition image. Each link in the aluminum chain functions as a pixel, forming a visually appealing work of art that not only separates areas of the restaurant, but also adds dynamism to the space. This design solution, in addition to being functional, plays with light and texture, creating a unique ambiance.

This project shows how thoughtful design can reflect the culture and character of a place. Kriskadecor’s installation not only serves as a room divider, but transforms the restaurant into a place with personality, combining vintage, modern and technological elements to provide an unparalleled experience for visitors to Brighton’s Gourmet Burger Kitchen.
