Kriskadecor project with circular columns descending from the ceiling.
In the heart of Al Khobar, Forsite Creative studio designed the interior of Nozomi, a Saudi restaurant that combines contemporary Japanese cuisine with an elegant and relaxed atmosphere. The project was also shortlisted for the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, recognizing the quality and sensitivity of its interior design proposal.
One of the most characteristic elements of the project are the Kriskadecor installations, conceived as cylindrical columns that seem to float in space. Suspended from the ceiling by means of circular supports, the metal chains provide texture, movement and visual depth, helping to separate the different areas of the restaurant without completely enclosing the space.
The transparency of the chain links maintains the feeling of spaciousness, while their arrangement generates a more intimate and relaxed atmosphere. The result is an environment that invites you to disconnect from the outside rhythm and enjoy a more immersive dining experience.
A constant play between light and shadow
The interaction between the chains and the lighting is key to the project. The lights integrated into the ceiling enhance the volume of the columns and cast soft shadows that change throughout the day. This play of light and reflections brings dynamism to the restaurant without losing serenity, creating an environment in constant transformation.
Through these installations, Kriskadecor not only acts as a decorative element, but also as a tool to modulate space, light and the perception of the environment, reinforcing the sophisticated and contemporary character of Nozomi.
