This time we have done it through the solidarity race Montblanc-Móra la Nova, organized by Joan Roig Palau from Montblanc, which took place on March 27 and has raised more than 6,500 €. The aim was to raise funds for Afanoc Tarragona, an association dedicated to children affected by cancer and their families.
Along with other runners from the province, Roig covered the 94.2 km and 3100 meters of positive slope that separate Montblanc and Mora, crossing the mountains of Prades, Albarca, Morera del Montsant, Cabacés, la Figuera, el Molar, Garcia and Móra d’Ebre.
The profits will contribute to maintaining the quality and services that the association offers to the families of children and adolescents affected by cancer, both those in hospitals and those staying at La Casa dels Xuklis, located next to the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital.
Previously, Kriskadecor had been heavily involved in events such as Montblanc’s “Posa’t la gorra,” which has not been held for two years due to health restrictions.
