In mid-April, during the Salone del Mobile in Milan, Kriskadecor presented the new Weaving collection. Developed by the renowned designer José Manuel Ferrero, founder and creative director of estudi{H}ac, it is part of the brand’s signature collections.
Weaving is a collection that has its starting point in the exciting world of weaving and its production methods. Composed of 14 patterns, each one of them synthesizes the different methods of interweaving threads to compose fabrics. An author’s collection in which José Manuel Ferrero creates the different proposals by transferring the graphic weft generated by each of these methods to a pixel system. Thus, Weaving collects the weaving technique taken to the recognized links with which the spectacular and creative metallic curtains are created.
The designer, a great enthusiast and connoisseur of tailoring and the textile world, transfers several traditional patterns and turns them into elegant and creative graphic proposals that, when applied to Kriskadecor curtains, create three-dimensional optical effects that interact with light, color and the finishes of the links. These proposals, in turn, allow the combination of textures and colors to achieve extraordinary and very particular results.
The Weaving collection consists of Herringbone, Denim, Satin, Basket, Chain, Mesh, Waffle, Plain, Rib, Spike, Cardigan, Paisley, Cable and Crepe. A collection that also offers 28 possible color combinations, since each of them allows 2 compositions, allowing more cheerful and saturated tones, taking us to a spring time, and other more subdued and dark, that transport us to the autumn period.
