To mark its centenary, Kriskadecor-Sans Amill has launched “100 Years of Inspiring Emotions,” a pop-up exhibition that transforms various iconic spaces in Montblanc through projects created by design and architecture schools.
“A hundred years in motion”, located in Muralla de Santa Anna, is one of the installations that form part of this urban exhibition. Developed by students from Escola d’Art i Disseny de Reus (EADR), the project was supervised by Albert Pàmies Thomas.
A hundred years in motion
Suspended in front of Montblanc’s medieval walls, this installation celebrates Kriskadecor’s 100-year history and its roots in the town through the element that best represents its journey: the chain link.
A zigzag structure creates a dual optical effect that transforms as the viewer moves around the installation. From one side of the square, an uninterrupted sequence of links rises upwards, representing the company’s origins, its development and the strength built over several generations.
From the opposite side, the image changes. The links gradually disperse across the surface, with the distance between them increasing in a controlled dissolution that symbolises the brand’s global expansion and its outlook towards the future.
A visual interplay in which the chain link, the essential unit of both the product and the company, multiplies and extends beyond its origins. It represents a century-old legacy that, while retaining the strength of its beginnings, continues to grow and evolve towards new horizons.
